Get ready for action. Children will learn the some basic beats and rhythms and grasp the relationship between these different note values, expressing these relationships through movement.

Trainer Jean-Gabriel Pophillat is currently a final year student in BA (Hons) in Music programme at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. As a performer, his interests encompass a wide sphere of music, from traditional Chinese music to traditional Javanese gamelan, from the Gregorian chant to the most cutting edge of 20th-century music. In particular, he has made a name for himself promoting local contemporary music, premiering the works of diverse composers from Singapore.

Towards Fundamentals (Ballet-based creative play)
Let your child discover the different aspects of the arts (music, dance, theatre and visual arts) through this ballet-based course that uses compelling visual images and games. Course highlights include improvisations on imaginative scenerios, emotions and rhythm. Children will get an understanding of Ballet discipline and simple exercise techniques.

Trainer Jaime Pang believes in instilling fun into ballet whilst maintaining the stringent requirements of classical ballet technique and holds a Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) from Royal Academy of Dance and a Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2.

Groove to the beat and rhythm and discover the elements of hip-hop with Styles From Beyond! Hip-hop enables a child to better understand his/her body and encourages better coordination and a greater sense of confidence as your child learns to move like his/her favourite artists on TV.

This music workshop is designed to discover the high notes in music learning with MYC friendly critters!
